Just recently I finally brought myself a laptop. Now because there are very few laptops that come with linux pre-installed it is difficult to know what to buy.

In the end I decided to buy the NEC Versa M400 which is a really good laptop, and does actually run linux very well. These pages are some pointers and configurations that I have used to get linux running on this laptop.
