Laterly I have been doing some work on redphp. I still have only just started.
At this stage I have created the proof of concepts which helped me learn the libraries that I will be using and to make sure that I would be able to create the requests to send to RedBack and process the return messages.
We it all worked!
so now I have just started on creating the extension to php which will allow me to create the gateway between redback and php.
